I thought this was a talent search. Am I ever wrong. Last night, I thought the kid that forgot the lyrics was going to go home. Instead, it was a talented guy named David Hernandez. If you’re him, I hope you sign up with American Idol Underground and upload some songs. We think you’re great and we sure would like to hear more of you.

American Idol - An Emotional Night

 

Randy said it all tonight, “It’s hard on Ryan”. I certainly don’t envy him when he has to announce who is staying and who is leaving tonight. America had to say goodbye to four contestants tonight, two guys and two girls. It’s sad to see them go, especially Asia’h Epperson. My heart goes out to you, girl. And I agree with Paula’s comment, “You’re tenacious. You’ll do well”. I’m not sure about Danny Noriega, I agree with Simon’s comments the other night “It didn’t do a thing for me”. And what’s with the hand thing? It was the end for Kady Malloy and Luke Menard as well. All the best to you all and if you’ve stumbled on this site, please sign up and submit your songs. Everybody wants to be a Rock Star

 

Don’t expect to see me on American Idol any time soon. I find it hard enough to sing along with Coco, my avatar and hero in the Wii game, Boogie. You sing, dance and rack up points like you do on American Idol, but fortunately for my neighbors, I do this in the confines of my own room. Believe me, you don’t want to hear me sing or dance on national TV. They say to make it in the record business, you need to be signable. You have to produce good music and look the part. Having a fantastic voice and singing in tune isn’t good enough these days according to Simon Cowell. With comments like “no star quality in that performance, no originality”, you need to be different from everyone else. If you want to win the American Idol contest then expand your vocal chords and reinvent your look. Take lessons from Sanjaya if you have to. Perhaps, it’s not star power that you’re looking for. All you want to do is to hear your music playing on the radio. What a blast that would be! You can live your life as a rock star and get discovered. You can also form a fan club and get your song to climb the charts. As soon as you submit your music, you will be guaranteed airtime. People listening to your music will rate your singing.
